ZigZag on zkSync 2.0 mainnet will be available to users when zkSync 2.0 reaches its "Full Alpha" stage, expected EOY 2022. zkSync 2.0's mainnet is being launched in three stages:
- 1.November 2022 - Baby Alpha: private mainnet for MatterLabs internal testing
- 2.Q4 2022 - Fair Launch Alpha: private mainnet for developer teams and ecosystem partners, registration required
- 3.EOY 2022 - Full Alpha: public mainnet for all projects and users
ZigZag is aiming to launch on StarkNet after the StarkNet Regenesis in which Cairo v0 is upgraded to Cairo 1.0, expected EOY 2022. Currently, the StarkNet bridge has limitations and the regenesis will force a migration of funds. The regenesis will also bring improved latency which is vital for an order book exchange like ZigZag.
ZigZag was live on StarkNet at the end of 2021 and the beginning of 2022. The StarkNet contracts that have been used can be found on the public GitHub in the starknet-contracts repository.
The EVM contracts are still being updated. The Arbitrum DEX is finished soon, but liquidity pools (ZigZag V3) are also planned. Once ZigZag V3 is finished and the contracts are stabilised, an audit will follow.
