Desktop

Step 1: Using a dApp browser extension

To use the exchange you will need to use a dApp browser extension. You can use a wide variety of extensions such as Metamask, but we recommend Coinbase wallet.
You can download the Coinbase extension here (currently only available for Chrome/Brave browsers):

Step 2: Choose a network

Arbitrum

After downloading the extension, switch over to the Arbitrum network. On desktop, this can be done by going to settings, selecting "Active dapp network" and then selecting Arbitrum.

zkSync

Simply remain on the Ethereum network (default).

Step 3: Bridging funds to Arbitrum or zkSync

Arbitrum

You will need to bridge your ETH using the official Arbitrum bridge:
After bridging, you will need to wrap your ETH into WETH:

zkSync

Visit https://trade.zigzag.exchange/bridge to bridge your assets to zkSync.

Step 4: Trading on ZigZag

After bridging (and if on Arbitrum, wrapping) you can now start interacting with the exchange. On zkSync, the interface will prompt you to activate your account first.

Mobile

Step 1: Using a dApp browser

To use the exchange on your mobile device, we recommend to use a dApp browser like Coinbase Wallet. You will be able to easily place orders and interact with the exchange.

Step 2: Choosing a network

After downloading the wallet app, switch over to the Arbitrum network. On mobile, this can be done by going to settings, selecting "Active dapp network" and then selecting Arbitrum.

zkSync

Simply remain on the Ethereum network.
